- The 23rd International Young Audience Film Festival Ale Kino! will be held from the 6th till the 12th of June 2005 in Poznań.
- The organizers of the Festival are: Children's Art Centre, Poznań Film Foundation, Multikino Ltd.
- The aim of the Festival is to present and promote valuable films for children and youths, stimulate their distribution and create a forum for artists, film critics and theorists, producers, distributors, representatives of audio-visual media, pedagogues and young viewers. The Festival forms an important element of cultural education.
- The Festival's programme comprises screenings of competition films, special screenings, the seminar and additional events.
- Feature film competition is open to films meeting the following criteria:
- live-action, of running time no shorter than 50 minutes,
- produced in the years 2003-2005,
- on a 35 mm film print with optical sound recording or in Betacam SP system,
- representing a separate artistic whole.
- Animated film competition is open to films meeting the following criteria:
- produced in the years 2003-2005,
- on a 35 mm film print with optical sound recording or in Betacam SP system,
- representing a separate artistic whole.
- Films may be entered by their producers or authorized institutions, using entry forms which should be sent in by 15 February 2005. The forms should be accompanied by a VHS cassette or DVD disc. Foreign films must have English subtitles or a dialogue list in English.
- The organizers of the Festival will carry out the selection of films. All entrants will be notified of the decision by 15 March 2005. In the event of the film being admitted to the competition it is necessary to provide immediately the following:
- a dialogue list in English,
- biography, filmography and a photo of a film director,
- stills and promotional materials.
- Films participating in feature film competition will be judged by an international jury appointed by the organizers. The jury will award the following regulation prizes:
- Grand Prix - The Golden Goats,
- The Silver Goats,
- The Bronze Goats.
Additionally the jury of feature film competition will award the prize of the International Centre of Films for Children and Young People CIFEJ.
- Films participating in animated film competition will be judged by an international jury appointed by the organizers. The jury will award the following regulation prizes:
- Grand Prix - The Golden Goats,
- The Silver Goats,
- The Bronze Goats.
- Films presented in both competitions will be also judged by a plebiscite of young viewers. The best films will be awarded the Marcinek prize.
- The organizers of the Festival award an outstanding Polish artist a special prize, the Platinum Goats, for the film output for young audiences.
- Other special prizes funded by private individuals, institutions and organizations may also be awarded, in agreement with the organizers.
- The organizers will invite selected authors of films admitted to the competitions.
- Copy of the film admitted to the competition must be sent in by 20 May 2005 to the following address:

- The copy should be in the original version, if possible with English subtitles.
- The sender shall bear the shipping costs. The organizers of the Festival shall bear the costs of returning the film.
- The Festival bears the cost of insurance of the copy, up to the full value quoted in the entry form. Insurance covers the period from delivering the copy to the Festival by the carrier to the collection of the copy by the returning carrier. The copy shall be returned to the address indicated in the entry form, immediately after closing of the Festival.
- The entrants give their consent to gratuitous use of:
- copy of the film for two additional screenings during the Festival,
- promotional materials for Festival publications,
- parts of the film for the purpose of promotion.
- Submitting a film to the Festival shall be tantamount to acceptance of these regulations. Issues not covered by these regulations are subject to decisions made by the organizers.
